Work & Beyond

I have found some work though I have received a few questions about future game development and Under the Ocean work so I will post it here for clarity, I am working on Under the Ocean around my new job, rebuilding it as good as it can be solo, due to the circumstances mentioned HERE I think its only fair I finish what I started before moving on. As you may guess this it is going to take some time to get it good as I have considerably less time to work on game projects now due to having a full-time job.  Now on to the moving on part...

Once Under the Ocean is done I will be thinking about doing something else with my free time, making and selling indie games has been a vicious love-hate relationship last few years, the pressures of dealing with e-drama, marketing and team dynamics is not the reason I got into this, I appreciate that this is a big chunk of making and selling games in small indie teams now but id like to put my free time towards something I enjoy doing, maybe going back to freeware or prototyping for a bit.

Thanks to everyone who has played and enjoyed my games over the years you mean everything to me!

I am looking for work!

Have an interesting project or proposal on the go and want to hire some programming, design or art help? Looking for a custom built game maybe?  Need an art or game making tutor?  Maybe some nice marketing art for your almost finished game?  Well you should totally email me HERE !

Most of the examples of my game making work ( programming, design and art ) can be found on the sidebar with links to all my freeware and shareware games. I have included a few bits of art below that don't make an appearance in my personal games mentioned, some of this work is quite a few years old so if you are looking for something specific shoot me an email!

2014 and beyond

2013 was a pretty successful year, I managed to build quite a few smaller games in Undercolor Agents, Steven Seagal: Hard to SWAT, Fistful of Gun and Happy Little Murder Friends while working on my bigger project, Under the Ocean.  I am now officially doing this whole -making games thing- as a serious job so 2014 will be the year that I reign in my focus a little for the foreseeable future.

So what can you expect from me in 2014?  In short, two really great couch co-op games (though internet will be available for Under the Ocean also!)  The first on the list is the Under the Ocean rebuild...

So as priority, Mike and I have been rebuilding Under the Ocean for the last few months, to be much more refined and focused, adding much needed features and a lot of changes that will hopefully transform the game ( details here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/227720/discussions/0/846963710989952580/ ), and once that is sorted and back into the groove of regular updates/development, I will then put the final touches on a game that is long overdue for release...

Fistful of Gun: for a Few Gun More, the followup to my freeware game Fistful of Gun,  will be the next title to drop, though it has been in a state of completed for some time, a few finishing touches and play testing is all that really stands in the way of getting this title finished.   It will include 8 new playable characters, bringing the grand total to 11 uniquely controllable characters , each with there own unique weapons and abilities, a fully fledged story mode with missions and bosses and such, and a versus mode, in addition to loads of polish, piles of new enemies and arenas and all sorts of stuff that will take you straight back to the old west, including a full audio score by Surasshu.
